250+ miles singletrack

In season now · Year-round

Best March to May and September to November; summer afternoons are hot. After the 2026 Pocket Fire, a few hiking trails and Oak Creek areas north of town stayed closed, so check alerts.

$5 trailhead parking, day

Red Rock Pass for Sedona-area Coconino fee sites, 2026; $15 for a week. An America the Beautiful pass works at most of them.

Red slickrock singletrack among the buttes.

More than 250 miles of red rock singletrack wind between Sedona’s buttes, from the mellow Bell Rock Pathway to exposed slickrock on trails like Hiline. Most of it is on Coconino National Forest land, with rental shops and coffee in the Village of Oak Creek and West Sedona. It suits intermediate to expert riders, with a few easy loops for building confidence.
