Typical; Jay’s season usually runs mid-November to mid-May, conditions permitting. 2026-27 dates not announced.
The East’s snowiest peak, plus an indoor waterpark.
By its own count Jay gets more snow than anywhere else in eastern North America, and deep glades and a liberal in-bounds policy make it a powder-hunter’s mountain. The Pump House waterpark, an NHL-size ice arena and slopeside hotels fill the off-slope hours. It’s remote, near the Quebec border, and the summit is often windy and fogged in.
