Trailheads, lakes and grizzlies on Glacier’s east side.
Many Glacier is the hikers’ campground in Glacier: trails to Grinnell Glacier, Iceberg Lake and Ptarmigan Tunnel start close by, and the Swiftcurrent Motor Inn next door has showers, a camp store and a restaurant. Sites are small and wooded, only 13 fit rigs up to 35 feet, and there’s no cell service. Most sites open on a rolling six-month window and a handful four days out, and they go fast; no vehicle reservation was needed to enter the park in 2026.
