Desert camping at the foot of the Superstitions.

A paved desert campground at the foot of the Superstition Mountains on the east edge of metro Phoenix, with saguaros, trailheads behind the sites and big sunset light on the cliffs. About half the sites have water and electric, and five air-conditioned cabins sleep six. Siphon Draw to the Flatiron is the classic hard hike, and winter weekends book up a year out.
