North Country New Year

Big-for-its-price family hill near the Canadian border.

Three connected peaks with 1,200 feet of vertical, glades, a busy tubing hill with neon night sessions and a sugarhouse on the slopes. Night skiing on weekends makes for a long day on one ticket. It suits families and budget skiers, and Montreal is closer than Albany.
