Plans to open in December with the new gondola; OnTheSnow lists Dec 26. Usually closes early April (it closed Mar 17 in 2026 after a thin winter).
Lake views on every run and rare Tahoe cat skiing.
A quiet West Shore hill that drops almost to the water, with lake views from all 66 runs. A new eight-seat gondola from the lakefront base is due for winter 2026–27, and guided snowcat days run on Ellis Peak. Lower elevation means thin snow in dry years, but crowds are rare.
