Five big bowls above a real Rockies mountain town.
Fernie spreads across five big alpine bowls with plenty of glades and chutes, and storms average about 29 feet of snow a year. Below it, the old coal-mining town of Fernie has good pubs, breweries and a lively après scene. It suits confident intermediates and experts, plus families staying slopeside.
