Lower Yough rapids and the gentle Middle Yough.

Below Ohiopyle Falls, the Lower Yough runs seven miles of Class III–IV rapids to Bruner Run, and the state park calls it the busiest stretch of whitewater east of the Mississippi. Above town, the Class I–II Middle Yough from Confluence suits families in rafts or inflatable kayaks and first-time whitewater kayakers. Guided trips, rentals and shuttles all start in the village, with Fallingwater and the Great Allegheny Passage close by.
