In season now · Apr – Oct

At current low lake levels the Antelope Point public ramp is open to paddlecraft only (launch at your own risk). Summer is hot and busy on the open lake; go early.

Kayak Powell 2026; guided Antelope Canyon kayak-and-hike tour $120 per adult

Paddle into a sandstone slot from Lake Powell.

From Antelope Point, a short paddle across Lake Powell leads into the flooded lower end of Antelope Canyon, where the walls close in until you beach the boat and continue on foot. The canyon is a no-wake zone, so it is calmer than the open lake. Guided tours handle the logistics; rentals let you take your time and explore other coves.
