Lakeside pines below a waterfall in the Lakes Basin.

Two small lakes below a cascading waterfall at 8,600 ft in the Mammoth Lakes Basin, with sites on both sides and Mammoth Mountain above. A store by the water rents boats and sells showers, and trails and the summer shuttle lead to the upper lakes and town. Bears are very active here, so every scrap of food goes in the locker.
