Provincial park in Whistler

In season now · Jul – Oct

Reservable all year; summer and early fall are the snow-free season. Winter trips need avalanche skills. A free day-use pass is needed to park at Rubble Creek in summer unless you have a camping reservation.

C$25 adult/night

2026 BC Parks backcountry fee; youth $5. Plus reservation fees, and $20 per trip for non-B.C. residents.

Hike-in camping at a turquoise glacial lake.

The classic Coast Mountains backpacking trip: about 9 km of switchbacks from the Rubble Creek trailhead to a vivid blue-green lake ringed by glaciers and peaks. The lakeside campground has 50 tent pads and nearby Taylor Meadows has 40 more; both need a reservation every night of the year. Spend a second night and day-hike to Panorama Ridge or the Black Tusk junction.
