Saguaro foothills camping on Tucson’s north edge.

A saguaro-studded state park at the foot of the Santa Catalina Mountains on Tucson’s north edge, where all 120 campsites have water and electric. Eleven trails for hiking, biking and horseback riding start in the park, including Romero Canyon to the Romero Pools. It’s busiest in winter, when snowbirds book far ahead.
