Trail network in North Vancouver

NSMBA trail stewards

In season now · Year-round

Best and driest July to September; rideable most of the year in the rain.

Free trail access

Free to ride; NSMBA memberships pay for trail work.

Where freeride was born, 20 minutes from downtown.

The steep, rooty mountains above North Vancouver gave the world ladders, skinnies and cedar bridges, and the NSMBA still keeps Fromme, Seymour and Cypress riding hard. There are friendlier new-school flow trails now, but most of it is technical and wet much of the year. It suits strong intermediate to expert riders; a local guide is the best way in.
