Trail network in Durango

In season now · Apr – Oct

In-town trails have the longest season; high-country rides are summer only. Purgatory Bike Park ran Thursday–Sunday to mid-August, then weekends to Oct 4, in 2026.

$19 day ticket

Purgatory Bike Park’s lowest 2026 online price; dynamic pricing rises as the day gets closer. Town trails are free.

Town singletrack, the Colorado Trail and Purgatory laps.

A college-and-railroad town with hundreds of miles of singletrack, starting with Horse Gulch a few minutes from downtown and climbing to alpine rides on the Colorado Trail, which ends here. Purgatory Bike Park, 25 miles north, reopened in 2026 with cheap advance tickets. Good for every level, with plenty of breweries for after.
