Trail network in Bozeman

In season now · May – Oct

Save the Bangtail Divide and Hyalite for summer and early fall; the Leverich trailhead lot closes in winter. Hyalite Canyon Road is closed to cars Apr 1–May 15, a traffic-free road ride.

Free trail access

Town and Forest Service trails are free, and Crosscut’s trails are free to ride in summer.

Main Street trails, Hyalite and the Bangtail Divide.

A college town with singletrack starting at the edge of downtown on the Main Street to the Mountains system, quick canyon loops like Leverich and Triple Tree, and the Bangtail Divide, a ridgeline IMBA Epic with views of five ranges. Up Bridger Canyon, Crosscut and Bridger Bowl have a growing free flow-trail network. Easy to pair with Big Sky an hour south.
